“紅蓮”

來自地獄的復仇之花，赤毀紅蓮，佛道教中地獄之一，一說為八寒地獄之一，因受生此地獄者，嚴寒逼切，其身變成紅赤之色，皮膚凍裂血破化火燒紅，故稱大紅蓮地獄。 另一說是熱地獄之一，其獄中皆呈赤色，深藏於地獄深處， 化做九昧冥火，燒盡偽善惡靈，其燄下冰上火焚燒，赤焱狀如紅色蓮花之毀滅慾色。故稱紅蓮大地獄。

Another said is that it was one of the hottest hell, all things inside were red and burnt down the Ahriman.The flames there were upper fire and bottom ice, looked like a red lotus, so people called it red lotus big hell.
